Summer 2009
In response to our
Christmas and Thanksgiving packages, we received
some letters from our troops.

We recently
sent out packages to these contacts. The
packages contained:
magazines, loads of books (thanks to Cathy
and John Moretta from RI), 60 boxes of
girl scout cookies (thanks to Amelia O'Rourke
and her RI troop who donated the cookies), drink
mixes for bottled water, deodorant, shampoo,
cookies, body wash, hair ties, feminine
products, nail polish, trail mix, granola bars
and comfy pillows.
SSGT Pamela Mead, U.S. Marines
Pamela arrived in Iraq in February 2009 and
is scheduled to leave in April 2010. She
is the Supply Chief and is with a unit from
North Carolina. Pamela wants to receive
packages to keep the morale up and to help those
soldiers who receive no packages from home.

SPC Shawn Kelsch
U.S. Army
We have been sending packages to Shawn for a few
months now. Shawn recently requested that we
send some musical instruments. We sent
over the following items. Shawn arrived in
Iraq in November 2008 and is slated to leave in
September 2009. This is the first time we
have received a request for musical instruments
and we were happy to oblige, thanks to your
generosity!
Capt Freddieric
D. Delara
U. S. Marines
Freddieric is slated to leave Afghanistan in
August, 2009. The request was for soft
pillows, soft chocolate chip cookies and energy
bars. We sent them all over.
