SPC Francis B. Estes III,
aka Pete
U.S. Army
Pete Estes is married with two young daughters,
Kayla (5 years old) and Desiree (2 years old).
He has been in Iraq since June 2006 and before
that was stationed, away from his family, in
Korea.
His wife, April, and the girls currently live in
Garner, NC.
Pete is expected home in the summer of 2007, at
which time, 24 months will have passed since he
has last seen his wife and children.
UPDATE: Pete was able to come home on
leave for Christmas 2006 for approximately two
weeks. He returned to Iraq on January 7,
2007.
Update #2: Pete was redeployed July 2009.
