Sgt Lucas P. Dresser
Good day to all.
My name is Sergeant Dresser and I am
representing the LogCom FIS for the Marine Corps
here in Iraq. I can't express what it means to a
Marine to know that people out there, with no
idea who we are, support us and take time out of
their days to express it. These are hard times
we're going through for everyone, deployed or
not, and every little thing counts.
Very Respectfully,
Sgt Dresser - USMC
"I
work w/ 4 directly, but our mission out here is
split in 2 operations. We have 6 Marines total
and roughly 20 civilians working together out
here. The civilians are just as big of an
asset as the Marines. They take care of a lot of
the busy work while we focus on the direct
mission. "

Lucas is
23 years old and grew up in Tampa Florida. He
has been in the Marine Corps 5 years now and is
on his 3rd duty station of Albany
Georgia. Lucas is very much into
working out and will work to become a personal
trainer for when he gets out of the Marines.
This is Lucas' first deployment to Iraq and he
is expected to be home Sept 07. He has 2
beautiful nephews from his older sister, they
live in Gainesville.
"And I can’t wait to go home!!"

UPDATE: Luke returned home in
September 2007. He was the race starter
and guest of honor along with his girlfriend,
Marine Sargeant Jennifer Chinchilla for the 3rd
Annual Rhody's Run for the Troops held on
October 7, 2007. Here are Luke and Jenny
with Pack It Up president, Kristin Struck.
