1.  All of our February packages were sent out and received.
We sent out three packages each to each of our contacts:  Dan, Michael and John.  We sent over lots of new movies, footballs, soccer balls, snacks, candy, gum, and loads of magazines and about a month's worth of the Providence Journal to our RI group.
2. All of the packages were received and the guys were happy with our selections.

Check out the emails from Dan, Michael and John below.
FROM MSG MICHAEL CHRIST
 Hello Ms. Struck,

I received your e-mail and was impressed with your site in support of the troops, Thank you all for what you do for the troops, I do not mind being your new contact for the soldiers and your organization, We have approximately 180 soldiers from the states of Maine, Alaska, Texas, Minn, Missouri, Wisconsin, Tenn, Ga, Florida, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio,Idaho, Kansas!!

As you can see we have a who's who's from across the united states for this deployment! I received three (3) packages from you and your organization as of this writing, it took awhile to get to you and respond with a new move around the country and setting up in a new mission, So things should be on track with communicating on a regular basis with you. The troops enjoyed the snacks, magazines, footballs and socar ball you sent!! Again Thank You and Your Organization!!
Thank you MSG Christ

Kristin,

I received your packages today, and your packages were greeted and welcomed with the usual enthusiasm, with everyone scrambling around to see the "goodies' received this moth. I once again thank you for your and your groups generosity, believe me when I say that everything you send over is being put to good use including the boxes that you use to send the stuff over. However, as much as the items you are sending over mean and are appreciated, I for one enjoy the excitement that just hearing the boxes are in, brings to the office. Everyone wants to know what the boxes have brought this time. They are a welcomed and anticipated break from the norm around here, and believe after 4 months it is sorely needed.

As I said we have just gone over the 4 month mark here in Iraq, with only 8 more to go. The days are long, and we have pretty much settled into a routine, where everyday seems like the same thing, much like in the movie "Groundhog Day" (which is the running joke around here). Don't get me wrong, we are staying very busy and all realize the importance of our mission. But with little else to do, but work, eat and sleep it can be quite repetitive, hence the excitement over anything out of the norm.

The unit as a whole is doing very well, and some of our soldiers have started taking Leave and returning to the states (or elsewhere) for a two break. The leave has helped to keep the morale high, although a few have returned saying how difficult it was to say goodbye for a second time.

I hope this e-mail finds you and yours all doing well and surviving the winters worst. Stay warm and safe, and I once again thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Dan

Hey Kristin, I just returned from leave. We got the boxes. Thanks alot. I put it all out on the tables in my office, and people are swarming in like vultures. We greatly appreciate it.

We are slowing getting word trickled down to us that we might be home the end of June or beginning of July, so we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Let me know if there is anything you would like from me. I attached the picture you requested. Unsure if it is what you are looking for. Let me know.

John
