SSG Amy Litman
Amy and her family moved to RI in 2000 from Naples, Italy where
she was stationed for four years. She is a
full time member of the National Guard (also
known as AGR (Active Reserve Guard). Until
her deployment in January 2005, Amy was living
on Aquidneck Island, RI. She is currently
in the process of looking for a home in North
Kingstown, RI.
Amy is a single parent to two children - Joshua,
almost 16 and Jennifer, 9.
Amy arrived in
Kuwait the first part of January 2005 and then
went to Iraq a month later. She is hoping to
depart theater in December, but will not be home
for Christmas, so she is not even getting her
hopes up! She told her family just to count on
January as her homecoming. "Not too much
longer.", she wrote.
