We are the Strucks - a local family from Providence, Rhode Island and we started this as an extended family Christmas 2004 project that was meant to show the troops how much we appreciate them.  Bob and John Struck (brothers) promised to match the donations of all the other family members.  When all was said and done, we raised $3240.

After Christmas, we decided to keep the effort going and each month, try to secure enough donations to send over whatever it is that the troops request.

The project is led by Kristin Struck, with lots of help from her parents, Mimi and Bob, her uncle John and her 3 sisters and brothers in law.  Never would we be able to do this without all the support (financial and otherwise) of our friends and family out there and the many people who have so generously donated their money.  So, thanks to you all!
